Form W-9: Download our W-9 form here.

Refunds & Cancellations Policy: EVAWI understands that circumstances change and there may be emergencies that prevent an individual from attending the conference.

  • No refund will be provided if you have not cancelled your registration prior to midnight on July 14, 2017. If you are registered for the conference at this point, we have incurred significant expenses on your behalf, and the FULL registration fee is due whether or not you attend.
  • If your registration is cancelled by midnight (PST)* on July 14, 2017, we will refund your registration fee less a $100 administrative fee. Cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and emailed to Jessica@evawintl.org or faxed to 774-404-7108. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving your cancellation.

To help avoid the loss of an individual’s registration fee or to avoid the $100.00 cancellation fee, you may substitute another person in your place at no charge. To make a substitution, complete a manual conference registration form for the substitute participant and email it to info@evawintl.org. The name of the original registrant MUST be included.

Law Enforcement

The Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Program has approved up to 33.75 continuing education course hours with no additional fee added to the cost of registration. Those seeking credit will be required to sign in each day with their Peace Officer License Number. Following the conference, you must complete the overall conference evaluation to receive your certificate of attendance. Approval does not signify that the POST Program endorses the specific content of the submitted course.

Because of the varying needs of law enforcement, we cannot apply for POST credit in each state. However, law enforcement personnel are encouraged to download the agenda, abstracts and biographical sketches of speakers to submit to your continuing education board for approval. Please contact us if we can provide you with assistance.

OTHER ORGANIZATIONS: If you belong to another organization, you will be able to get a certificate of attendance if you complete the online evaluation, and we encourage you to submit that along with our agenda, abstracts and speakers’ biographical sketches, (all available on our website) to your own organization to see if you could get the continuing education credit you are seeking.

International Registration Process

If you are interested in attending our St. Louis Regional Training and need a letter of invitation for your embassy appointment, please complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the International Registration Application and email it to terrah@evawintl.org by June 15, 2017.
  2. If your application is approved, a letter of invitation will be emailed to you along with instructions to complete the registration process. If your application is denied, you will be notified by email.
  3. Upon receiving your letter of invitation, schedule your appointment with the U.S. Embassy or Consulate to obtain your visa.

EVAWI cannot contact or intervene with any U.S. Embassy or Consulate office on your behalf.  We suggest you begin your visa application process as soon as possible as processing time can be very lengthy. All nationals and citizens of Waiver Program (VWP) countries who plan to travel to the United States for temporary business or pleasure for 90 days or less are required by law to obtain travel authorization prior to initiating travel to the United States. This authorization can be obtained online through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), a free Internet application administered by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

To find out if you need any additional documentation or information, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.
