Thank you so much for the wonderful work that you do, it is so nice to see that there really are people who care and have a burning passion to make a change! Sometimes it seems like it is an uphill battle, trying to make a difference in the world that we live in … It does for me anyways! But, I refuse to back down or give up! I have already overcome too much!!! Listening to you has renewed my passion and I feel like my battery has been charged! Again, thank you so much!

The staff and trainers are extremely professional and they know their line of work.  The trainers are focused on educating individuals like myself who work in the trenches of helping victims of crime.  EVAWI is extremely focused on looking at all avenues to end violence against women.

This was not just the same old stuff!  I am going to report this info to my colleagues and hopefully help to change the way some things are handled in my community.
~ Victim Advocate

With the regional conferences being more narrowed down to topics and the class size also makes it better for questions and general discussions. All presenters were very knowledgeable of their topics and I did learn several ideas how things can be done differently: evidence collection, interviews etc. I hope you continue to have the regional conferences in the future.
~ Detective Sergeant

I attended the EVAWI regional training conference in Charlotte, NC where I was treated to an overwhelming experience of community in response to sexual violence in our society.  The briefings were very educational … and exceeded my expectations.  I was also surprised that I enjoyed some of the sessions more so than I originally thought I would.  I was also very impressed with the supporting staff that assisted during this conference.  They were always there and ready to help anyone who may need assistance.  I truly appreciated the many law enforcement and nurse perspectives from the attendees.  I've attended many conferences and training regarding sexual assault and domestic violence but the networking and multi-disciplinary connections I made were invaluable.
