Detective Sergeant Judy Weber is a 33-year veteran of the San Diego Police Department. During this time, she oversaw the investigation of a wide variety of cases, including homicide, sex crimes, robbery, special investigations, and child abuse.  Detective Sergeant Weber also supervised the professional standards unit, traffic special events, the school task force, and patrol.

In 2012, Detective Sergeant Weber founded "Women of Wisdom," a program that provides mental, physical, and financial services to victims of domestic violence at the San Diego Family Justice Center. She was the co-founder of the San Diego County Stalking Program and developed the High Risk Temporary Restraining Order Notification System. 

Detective Sergeant Weber is a police academy instructor on domestic violence, strangulation, and stalking. She is an adjunct professor at Alliant International University and teaches classes in victimology, introduction to the criminal mind, criminal justice systems, and technology and the law.  She has spoken internationally on major case management, highlighting the Danielle Van Dam abduction and murder case study, among others. 

Detective Sergeant Weber received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Diego Domestic Violence Council and the California Governors Commendation for investigative police work.
