Our regional training conferences are designed to complement our international conference that we host once a year, as well as our OnLine Training Institute (OLTI) and webinar events, to offer a range of training options for professionals in the field. While the annual conference offers an incredible opportunity to hear from as many as 80 leading experts facilitating 48 workshops and 6 plenary sessions -- we continually receive requests to host regional training conferences on a smaller scale, to address the fundamentals of how to improve the investigation and prosecution of sexual assault and domestic violence.  This is consistent with our mission as an organization, which is to inspire and educate those who respond to gender-based violence - with the goal of better supporting victims, holding perpetrators accountable, and ultimately make our communities safer.

Leading national experts will present on a variety of topics, such as:

  • Sexual Assault Dynamics - Effectively Recognizing and Responding to Sexual Assault
  • The Impact of Trauma on Memory and Overcoming Barriers to Successfully Interview Victims of Sexual Assault
  • Start by Believing Public Awareness Campaign
  • Unfounded Cases and False Reports
