Serra Trinh
Serra Trinh is a management consultant supporting the White House Federal Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Federal CIO Council. She received her Bachelor's degree in business management from the Pamplin School of Business of Virginia Tech. She has had a range of career experience spanning from the U.S. Intelligence Community to the Executive Office of the President.

Serra completed numerous courses of Domestic Violence training in cultural competency, participated in various volunteer opportunities including working with children of homeless families, and children of families experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence. Serra was selected as a member of She Helps Engage D.C. (SHE D.C.) that supports the Mayor's Office on Women's Policy and Initiatives (MOWPI) of Washington D.C. where she helped lead the design, management, and facilitation of a financial workshop for community women in the D.C. area. Serra was also featured as a guest speaker at a women's safety workshop, and has used art and poetry to educate the community about gender violence issues.

Serra believes education is the critical first step toward positive change in the goal of eliminating domestic violence and abuse that affects us all – not just women and girls. She embraces EVAWI’s mission of community education and is honored to be a part of a movement to free people from the cycle of violence, not only in our local community but throughout the world.
