End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing effective, victim-centered, multidisciplinary training and technical assistance for professionals who respond to sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. To remain strong and independent, we rely on your support.
Your generous donation, however large or small, will allow us to continue to offer critical training and technical assistance that would not otherwise be available for criminal justice and community professionals investigating and prosecuting crimes of gender-based violence.Your donation will also help to support our Start by Believing public awareness campaign, which is dedicated to changing the way we as a society respond to victims of sexual assault. While we as professionals work as hard as we can -- to improve the services we offer to sexual assault victims and reform the criminal justice system to hold more offenders accountable -- we will only have limited impact if victims continue to face a gauntlet of disbelief and blame. We need to change how we all respond to victims.
Here are a few examples of what your generous donation can do for EVAWI:
- $25 allows us to print and mail 500 bookmarks to spread the message of our Start by Believing public awareness campaign.
- $50 provides one hour of technical assistance for professionals who respond to the needs of victims and work to hold perpetrators accountable.
- $100 provides two hours of expert consultation with journalists, to influence media coverage and change public attitudes about sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.
- $495 funds one scholarship for a police officer, nurse, prosecutor, or victim advocate to attend our annual International Conference on Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Stalking.
Tribute Donation Walls
These virtual walls symbolize a wall of support in honor of the following:
Joan Zorza Tribute Wall
Joan Zorza has dedicated her life to ending violence against women and children. To recognize her tireless efforts on behalf of the victimized and often powerless among us, we dedicate this wall of tribute.
Virginia Lynch Tribute Wall
Virginia Lynch has arguably done more than any other person to create the field of forensic nursing. Through her work and leadership, she has touched the lives of countless people, providing care and healing for victims and promoting forensic science to hold offenders accountable. by purchasing a brick, with proceeds going toward a scholarship fund for forensic examiners to attend our Annual International Conference.
Here at EVAWI, we work hard to achieve our vision of a world where survivors receive the compassion, support, and justice they deserve. This virtual wall symbolizes the wall of support we can create in honor of survivors -- the wall of protection we want to create not only for the survivors themselves, but also for their loved ones, because they are all profoundly changed by the far-reaching impact of gender-based violence. We invite you to honor their spirit of survival by purchasing a brick. All the proceeds will go toward a scholarship fund, for professionals to attend our Annual International Conference.
